ETOPO Control Services Nigeria Limited (ECSNL) was established in 2002, then with only Share Capital of Five Million (5,000,000) shares as a Marine and Pipeline Company. With its excellent Management on Operations, Administration, HSSE and Financially since then has grown technically and financially, extending its services to the various oil and gas Companies e.g. Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited, Total Nigeria, Mobil Producing and NIPEX–NAPIMS. In 2004 ETOPO proved its technical capability and service integrity both on equipment and personnel when the Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited awarded a Service Contract for the provision of a Supply Crew Boat, which ETOPO provided the M/V “Colby Victory”. In 2006, witnessed the supply and operation of the Ibimor Beke Crew Boat and Marvis Beke a self- propelled fuel barge to Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited field operating in the Brass and Beniboye swamp areas. Since then ETOPO has supplied various marine vessels that complies, if not exceed, the technical requirements of the Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited, notably: anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS); dive support vessel, self-propelled fuel barge. In 2009 saw another milestone for ETOPO when it entered into contract with the Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited for the repair, maintenance and replacement of sabotaged pipelines in the swamp area. Through its efficient services, on the same year (2009), ETOPO increased its share capital to 50,000,000 (Fifty Million); hence, ETOPO, which banks with the First Bank Plc (Nigeria), have now the financial capacity to execute multi-million dollar projects. 2012 brought another service expansion as it went into petroleum haulage, supplying over fifteen (15) trucks (33,000 liters/truck) of PMS and AGO per month. 2013 saw ETOPO make a new height when it was awarded the contract for pipeline construction and laying of 3.5KM 6” Dual Flowline from Ogbainbiri A Deep to Ogbainbiri A Deep Arrival Manifold, Wellhead Hook-up and Manifold Tie-In String B and the Replacement of the Mechanical and Instrumentation of both lines. This project has been commissioned in service and the Job Milestone has already been issued. Resulting from the previous satisfactory milestones, in the beginning of 2014, Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited awarded the contract to ETOPO for the construction, fabrication and installation of five (5) Sand Traps in the Ogbainbiri Wellheads including the Manifold and Platform Extensions. Moreover, Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited awarded to ETOPO the Laying of the 20KM 4” Dual Flowline from Biseni 4 Location to Samabiri Cluster 2 Arrival Manifold. Along with the Pipeline services ETOPO has engaged in wellhead/Platform and arrival manifold upgrade and modifications.
